JAZZ CORNER : Persian Side of Jazz is one of the year's most unique and compelling releases mainly because the stylistic blueprint of Mirarab's compositions draw upon stylistic influences, mainly Persian folk and world music, that are exotic to stateside ears.

This much anticipated class will be a 15 sessions weekly class starting February 10 2012. It will be a Persian musical theory workshop.
The workshop is free to UCB students. We welcome people from all communities and residences as we hope to have a diverse crowd.
