On September 26, 2004, ISAA received its second award from the Payvand Cultural School at the Cupertino Mehregan
Festival of Autumn, which was organized by Payvand. The plaque was accepted by Co-Presidents Hoda Fahimi and
Elnaz Manoucheri and Board Member Hamid Assadi. The festival included musical and dance performances to an audience
of several hundred community members. Congressman Honda attended the event. ISAA also set up a table to promote its
organization and to sell ISAA shirts, which promote the Iranian identity.
